## GWLN Solutions Labs

Partner-championed, solutions-driven working groups of the Global Wildfire Leadership Network (GWLN), to catalyze collective action and investment in wildfire solutions, accelerating the shift from crisis to long-term resilience.


## Overview

Each Lab is organized around a priority action area and investment pillar for building wildfire resilience, translating ideas into action. Labs are designed to be cross-cutting, with the work of each Lab building and informing the others.


### Lab 1: Beneficial Fire Framework

Keywords: Nature-based Solutions (NbS)Develop and pilot frameworks for the managed, intentional use of fire across diverse fire regimes, translating knowledge into practical standards, governance, and investment tools.


### Lab 2: Open Fire Data & AI

Keywords: Data, Tech & AIAggregate global fire datasets into a shared hub, and build AI models that turn raw data into actionable wildfire risk mitigation insight.


### Lab 3: Fire Adapted Communities

Keywords: Finance, Insurance & Nature-based Solutions (NbS)Combine home hardening, landscape treatment, and risk-based insurance into a single, scalable proof of concept for WUI communities.


### Lab 4: Fire Resilience Funding

Keywords: Finance & InsuranceBuild the financial architecture, avoided-loss business cases, blended finance pilots and investment standards to unlock capital for wildfire resilience.


### Lab 5: Wildfire Regional Networks

Keywords: Cross-cuttingConnect regional organizations across four continents to ground global Lab outputs in local realities.
