## Impact of 1t.org: The Trillion Trees Platform

Launched in 2020 in support of the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration, 1t.org was the World Economic Forum’s flagship platform for mobilizing commitments from corporates and governments to conserve, restore and grow one trillion trees by 2030.


**93 companies pledged** with 9.7 billion equivalent trees committed across 143 countries

**More than 75 billion trees** committed by governments, including China and India

**Over 350 innovators** including youth leaders scaling breakthrough solutions

### Amazon Basin

Launched to catalzye the financing and implementation of a sustainable bioeconomy in the Amazon through forest landscape conservation and restoration and ecopreneurship.


### Canada

Launched to mobilize private sector ambition in support of the Canadian government's two billion trees programme and Indigenous-led forest conservation and restoration.


### China

Launched in partnership with National Grasslands and Forestry Administration and China the Green Foundation, to support Chinese Government’s 70 billion tree goal.


### Democratic Republic of Congo

Supporting the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) Kivu-Kinshasa Green Corridor, which builds on the Virunga National Park’s economic model to maintain and preserve this reserve.


### Europe

Co-led with Reforest’Action to mobilize private sector ambition and multi-stakeholder action in Europe, in alignment with the EU Nature Restoration Law.


### India

Launched to convene multi-stakeholder dialogue, raise ambition and catalyse public and private sector investment in forest landscapes while spotlighting and scaling promising innovations and solutions.

### Mexico

Co-led with Reforestamos and the Mexican Alliance for Ecosystem Restoration to scale Mexican private sector investment in restoration and ecopreneurship.


### Sahel

Co-led by SOS SAHEL and launched in support of Great Green Wall (GGW) initiative, identified key value chains and landscape restoration approaches that are ready to scale.


### United States

Co-led with American Forests to mobilize ambitious pledges from corporations, NGOs, and state and local governments.

The Forest Future Alliance is an evolution of 1t.org, building on our strengths and adjusting to new realities. We are expanding our support to both private sector and philanthropy actors at each stage of their journey towards socially, economically and ecologically responsible forest action.
