Our mission

The Forest Future Alliance (FFA) enables the private sector and philanthropic organisations to undertake socially, economically and ecologically responsible action for forest landscapes.

FFA supports credible action in both rural and urban forests, to advance thriving ecosystems and communities globally.

The Forest Future Alliance is supported by inaugural funding from Marc and Lynne Benioff, NO.17 Foundation by Chavalit Frederick Tsao, and Naia Trust.

Globally forests generate economic revenues of $450 billion annually, provide essential ecosystem services and support 1.6 billion people. Healthy, abundant and resilient forest landscapes are critical to community, economy and planetary health. Forests provide:

The Global Wildfire Leadership Network (GWLN) is a community housed within the Forest Future Alliance which mobilizes private-sector and philanthropic actors to help shift wildfire management from reactive suppression to prevention, preparedness, and long-term resilience.

FFA convenes private sector, corporates, investors, family businesses and philanthropy actors who are interested or actively investing in forest landscapes.
