## Our mission

The Forest Future Alliance (FFA) enables the private sector and philanthropic organisations to undertake socially, economically and ecologically responsible action for forest landscapes.   FFA supports credible action in both rural and urban forests, to advance thriving ecosystems and communities globally.

The World Economic Forum’s Forest Future Alliance is gathering input from companies, financial institutions, investors, and other funders from the private sector to understand which forest-related opportunities are gaining traction, what barriers remain, and where collaboration could unlock greater investment and impact. The Global Wildfire Leadership Network (GWLN) is a community housed within the Forest Future Alliance which mobilizes private-sector and philanthropic actors to help shift wildfire management from reactive suppression to prevention, preparedness, and long-term resilience.
